We believe that children learn through exploration, creative play, and mindful activities, which foster learning and self-expression. Each day will be filled with play, nature, art, music, manipulatives, a variety of sensory activities, reading, and writing. We have a schedule so the children will become familiar with a routine. Our activities both indoor and out are designed to ensure a love of nature and the environment. Your child will get the attention they deserve, while having room to explore and grow.

Kelly Beal Director/Owner
Kelly moved to the valley in 2009 from New Jersey. She has a degree in elementary education and sociology, married to a Colorado native with whom she has a daughter, and has been a director of early education in the valley for 8+ years.
Dustin Robertson Director/Owner
Dustin is originally from New Jersey and has known Kelly Beal since both were in high school. She has lived in the valley for 10 years and has a daughter who also attends Honey Tree.
Sue Hankinson Director
Originally from NY, Sue has embraced the Roaring Fork Valley as her home for over 26 years. She has over 20 years in Early Childhood Education as a teacher, assistant director and Director along with specialized work with children with special needs.
Honey Tree Adventure Bus
We take children ages 3+ (must be potty trained!) on adventures around the valley! Every month, we have a great selection of adventures to choose from!

Infant Care
We know it is a big step in entrust your baby with someone else and we ensure that process to be as smooth as possible whether it is your first time in childcare or you are a seasoned parent.
Toddler Education
Children learn a language when you talk to them and they communicate back to you, and by hearing stories read and songs sung aloud. Children also learn by using their senses. They explore and discover by touching and mouthing objects, hearing voices and music, and seeing the colorful, fascinating wonder all around them.
Preschool
Students will practice skills in small group settings and have some one on one time with the teachers. Toddler 3’s goal in this classroom is to create a positive, constructive, and welcoming environment for all of our students.
